About Chess Cloud

Chess Cloud is building the world's largest decentralized compute marketplace. We connect people who need compute with people who have machines sitting idle — creating better prices for users and new income for contributors.

Our vision

The cloud computing market is dominated by a handful of hyperscalers, each layering increasing margins on top of commodity hardware. Meanwhile, millions of high-performance machines — gaming PCs, workstations, servers in smaller data centers — sit idle for hours every day.

Chess Cloud bridges this gap. By creating a decentralized marketplace where compute providers can contribute their idle resources, we unlock capacity that would otherwise go to waste. Users get access to compute at prices significantly below traditional cloud providers, while contributors earn income from hardware they already own.

We started with container compute because it's the foundation everything else is built on. GPU compute, batch jobs, storage, networking, and AI services all run on the same peer infrastructure — and all benefit from the same economic model.

Mission

Democratize access to compute by unlocking the world's idle processing power.

Team

Small team, big mission. We're a group of infrastructure engineers and distributed systems researchers building the future of cloud compute.

Status

Container Compute is live. Nine more services are in active development and rolling out progressively.
